Senthil Krishnasamy, Certified Natural Medicine Practitioner / Ayurvedic Practitioner Senthil has more than 10 years of experience in Ayurvedic / Siddha medicine. He studied at the prestigious Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in India to gain his Bachelor of Siddha Medicine in India. Through the use of Natural Medicine, Senthil loves helping people by naturally promoting balance, healing, and rejuvenation to the mind and body. He uses a combination of poly-herbal formulations, nutrition/diet, herbal oils, and simple massage with herbal oils.

What is Ayurvedic Medicine? Ayurvedic medicine is one of the world’s oldest medical systems and remains one of India’s traditional health care systems. Ayurvedic treatment combines products (mainly derived from plants, but may also include animal, metal, and mineral), diet, exercise, and lifestyle.

Poly-herbal formulations: Poly-herbal formulation (PHF) is the use of more than one herb in a medicinal preparation. The concept is found in Ayurvedic and other traditional medicinal systems where multiple herbs in a particular ratio may be used in the treatment of illness.

Ayurvedic Nutrition & Diet: Ayurvedic diet has specific guidelines for each dosha, the diet as a whole encourages eating whole foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes. This can benefit your health greatly, as these foods are rich in many essential nutrients. Traditionally, Indian foods are classified into three main categories. Cooked vegetables, milk, fresh fruits, and honey are meant for the truly wise and are considered as Satvika foods. Foods that bring out the lowest, crass qualities of human behavior such as meat, liquor, garlic, and spicy and sour foods are classified as Tamasika foods. Foods that give enough energy to carry out daily work are categorized as Rajsika foods.

Herbal Oils: Ayurvedic oils are made by adding holistic healing herbs such as turmeric, tulsi, brahmi and rosemary to a carrier oil such as coconut oil, almond oil and castor oil.
Ayurvedic oils embrace a holistic approach to wellness, as recommended by the 5,000-year-old Ayurvedic practice. They work on your hair, body, and skin through massages (Abhyanga) that affect your primary functioning energies (Doshas) and support good health.
